John and Melanie are so excited to finally be using their gift for God! John has been a musician for thirty plus years, and Melanie met John in a band about 9 years ago. Between traveling on cruise ships and singing in Las Vegas, John and Melanie have seen it all, but always seemed to come back to the heart of things….what is their purpose here on Earth? All it took was for Melanie to open up her Bible on a cruise ship one evening and to simply say “God, if you are real, then make me understand this!” Sure enough, within three months Melanie and John were hooked on God’s everlasting love, and His ultimate purpose for why He created them. It’s been 6 years of living in God’s kingdom for Melanie and John, and God is becoming an evermore deepening presence in their lives. God continues to prepare their hearts to understand more of His truth everyday, and is continually enabling and equipping them to be able to share God’s love and encourage others to grow further in their own amazing walk in this life with God!
Melanie - Lead Vocals
Reed Wheeler - Bass Guitar, Vocals
Reed was raised in Norwalk, Ohio, in a family that sang together. A lot. Church hymns became an important part of his upbringing. They speak the inner truths of the trials and triumphs of his personal and collective struggle to Seek His Face. We see His works in the Heavens, and we hear His voice in choirs singing His Praises. We are all singing them, but not all are making themselves heard. Reed had stopped singing for many years, except when the family got together. But now, he is singing His Praises again weekly with his dear friends. He learned to play bass, and his wife Christine assists with service photography and video shoots.
Sam Postingle - Guitar (on Right)
Sam started playing guitar his freshman year of high school. Having a year of lessons and the rest being self taught, he feels he has improved greatly, all the while learning something new every day. His main influences are punk and hard rock such as Blink-182, early AFI, Three Days Grace, and Breaking Benjamin. Playing in a Praise Band has given him the opportunity to greatly expand his horizons both musically and spiritually.
Michelle Serenas - Back Up Vocals
Michelle came to know of Revelation Rhythm in the Fall of 2008 after driving by All Saints Church and seeing the band advertised. God opened her heart, she entered the church, and now she is praising God with her back-up vocals!
She came to know the Lord in 1998 through WCRF 103.3 FM Radio Station. Her life changed in the way that she saw the wonderful world & all in it for the splendor God had created. Suddenly, she knew Jesus in a more personal way. He became her “All in All”.
Now she praises her Savior through her voice with singing in Revelation Rhythm. She thanks God for His Grace, Faithfulness, and many blessings in her life including her beautiful daughter Chelsea.

Megan Weakland - Back Up Vocals
Megan started singing when she was in elementary school: singing in the small choirs they had. She did not get a chance to sing in high school, but when she went to church, she always looked forward to singing during the service. Sam brought her to his church, All Saints, during the Sunday night Praise and Worship service to see him play guitar, and every time she returned, she wondered if the band was looking for more singers. She was really shy to ask, but Sam told her if she wanted to sing, she needed to ask. She did finally ask... and the band felt she was good! She loves singing and is so glad to be a part of Revelation Rhythm.
Michael Boucher - Drums & Percussion
Michael became involved in music at a young age through school and garage bands. Later he earned a degree in performing arts at the University of Michigan. He joined Revelation Rhythm in August of 2008. Being a member of All Saints, he had heard about Revelation Rhythm, but had not attended one of the Praise & Worship services yet. At his wife’s urging, they attended in July of 2008 and were mesmerized at the inspiring, moving, and joyous songs. Later Pastor told him that the band was in need of a drummer...
Michael came to know his Lord in 2007 in a true and personal way. When his then fiance now wife Shaye and he looked for a site for their wedding (she had been raised Lutheran), God led them to All Saints where they are now both active members of the congregation.
